Product Description

A dual use structual fire fighting and extrication glove. A five fingered form fit 3 dimensional NFPA 1979-2007 certified structural fire fighting glove with curved forchettes and a 2 piece inset pre curved thumb. Outer construction is made with PBI silicone coated Kevlar knuckle and back of finger protection layered over black goatskin back with a Kevlar under layer continuing along the back of the finger, to increase thermal protection. Super soft cowhide palm over layered with PBI silicone coated Kevlar palm patches using a skeletal design. Palm and side finger panels (forchettes) are goatskin .Gauntlet outer cuff is super soft cowhide with inner cowhide layer cuff with an elastic snugger band along the wrist crease at the palm and back.

The finger design features a roll over finger tip eliminating the seam at the finger tip to enhance tactility and touch with a digital layer of tough goatskin for added grip and protection on each fingertip pad.

Thread
The glove is sewn with 100% Kevlar 70 thread at minimum 10 spi.

Barrier
The vapor barrier is a monolithic breathable 2 part PU membrane that is durable light weight and flexible. The barrier is exceeds the NFPA 1971 -2007 5 chemical challenge and is blood borne pathogen and viral penetration resistant.

Liner
The liner is an FR modacrylic liner/Kevlar palm that will not flame melt or drip.

Cuff
The cuff (Knit wrist version) is yellow Kevlar with spandex intersewn to ensure a snug fit during the life of the product. The gauntlet version is made with Super soft cowhide with or without an inner cuff of Kevlar (as specified by the customer)

Adhesive System
All inner components are assembled using our high temperature breathable GLOVE BOND adhesive system eliminating the need for tape at the finger tips. The adhesive is applied to a wide area at the fingers and palm area ensuring maximum bond between the liner / barrier and leather outer eliminating liner pull out completely.

Quality
All components are tested and inspected using ISO 9001 quality system with 3 individual inspections during the manufacturing process. Entire quality system is certified annually with 2 complete audits of manufacturing process.  Our 3 part glove designs exceeds NFPA Thermal Protection Performance (TPP) by nearly double with increased dexterity, comfort and protection.
