The detector consists of three basic components: the bracket, linkage, and fusible link. The fusible link is sold separately. The linkage is used to support the fusible link. The scissor style detector allows the wire rope to be strung completely through the detection system conduit and brackets first and the detector linkage assemblies are then clipped on later.
